Armenia Flag

While there have been many different incarnations of the Armenian flag throughout history there is one new flag which was recently adopted by the Armenian supreme Council in 1990 that is the new look for the people of Armenia. For their goods and services than for their good will, people are able to enjoy the flag of Armenia without any fear of reprisal is and even in 2006 there was a law passed in Armenia acknowledging June 15 as national Flag Day for the country which this speaks to their newfound hope for a better day.

This however in the past the Armenian flags through history have had a great deal of other different type of designs on them which has made them very distinct from what is currently the design on the main flag. Today's Armenian flag has a red a blue and orange stripe all horizontal and all thought to mean a number of different things. The red is thought to mean the blood spilled by the Armenian soldiers for meaning is freedom, of the blue is thought to mean the sky which could mean a better tomorrow, and the orange is thought to mean the fertile lands of Armenia where people are able to grow and prosper and form a new day for themselves and for their families.

Many of the earlier designs in the Armenian flag had no sort of real logic behind them. The Armenian flights from 2000 years ago had all sorts of different symbols on them like a dragon, a lion, an eagle, or any other object which has no real correlation between anything that was going on at the time. Unfortunately though these flags are often saw as a call to war and they often lead people out and charge into battle.
