Greenland Flag

If you had ever asked anybody about it in the past they would have told you that the Greenland flag would have been the same flag as the Denmark flag or some variation thereof. While many people thought that the Nordic cross in green and white would have been the flag of Greenland had really ended up being something completely different. The Greenland flag is actually a construction of someone who lives in Greenland and it's a very interesting site indeed.

The flag of Greenland is split into and the top half is predominately white and the bottom half is predominately red. Just off-center to the left side is a circle which on the top half is red and on the bottom half is white so it basically is flipped up from the red and one Half Circle to the white side which leaves the bottom half of the white side and it looks like a sunrise and sunset in a way. However this was just a design of a local person who's flag one by a vote. Perhaps one of the most Democratic flags ever created the flag Greenland still does use the green version of the flag of Denmark side by side with this other flag and even though many people thought the flag of Denmark would catch on as the predominant flag, that hasn't even been the case.
