Guinea Flag

As a former French colony and yet as a country in Africa it is an important distinction to remember that the area once known as French Guinea and today simply known as Guinea owes equal parts to it hosts continent and to its former home colony. The flag of Guinea is tricolor with the African colors of red yellow and green however the stripes are vertical, much the same way that the stripes of the French flag are vertical which leaves you to believe in both instances that they have some loyalty to their African continent and some loyalty to their French fathers as well.

It may just be saying that the country today known as Guinea may be trying to learn its own way in the world without any host or father country or going any particular loyalty to their continent. While it is an important symbolic gesture to be able to figure into the equation exactly everything that's going on in your talking about the flag of Guinea it is also an important thing to remember that there are a number of flags in the world and there are only so many designs it can be had. While many people would like to get creative with their design, many countries are simply satisfied with showing off who they may in fact still be loyal to. So while there can be much discussion on the matter it is really up to the country itself individually rather than anyone else who is trying to describe what the Guinea flag should be like a war who should say what.

If you're feeling a little bit inquisitive on the matter and you want to learn more about the description of the Guinea flag or you want to find out more information about its history and its coming about then you should certainly do that. There's plenty of information available on the Internet and in local resources where you can find out all the information they need and you can make it to the next level of more full understanding of the area of Guinea without breaking the bank on accessing any other resources. If you feel like maybe you'd like to learn a little bit more though and are still stuck where you are then going to books is one of the easiest ways to go. Not every book has been put into the computers and some books may lie forgotten on a bookshelf in a library somewhere so making your way over to your local bookstore and asking a librarian, a real person, about where you can learn more information is one of the most human things anybody can do.
