Swaziland Flag
While the tiny little kingdom of Swaziland and South Africa is one of the smallest countries in the world they have their own anthem and their own Mono which says “We are the fortress.” The people in the kingdom of Swaziland must believe this because they have been around for quite some time and remain not swept up by any other neighboring countries for one reason. Swaziland is one of the wealthiest nations on the continent of Africa yet is still one of the poorest nations in the world just due to the fact that a great deal of the people in Swaziland live in absolute poverty.
The fact that the nation of Swaziland has such an interesting looking flag should not be lost on people who are looking for some kind of symbolism in the nation itself. While the flag has been around since the late 1960s and the colors and the images on the flag holder great deal of symbolism individually you should be sure to understand that Swaziland believes themselves to be completely free from the influences of their much larger neighbors. The flag of Swaziland has two horizontal stripes that are approximately 1/8 the size of the flag. The stripes run across the top and the bottom of the flag in her blue.
