Tanzania Flag

If you want to more fully understand the flag of Tanzania you need to understand a flags of Zanzibar and Tanganyika. The flag of Tanzania was allegedly developed and adopted from these two countries flags and so if you know what these two countries are about than you may more fully appreciate the flag of Tanzania. As it stands currently the flag of Tanzania is a interesting thing to look at and it is that way for number of reasons.

The flag of Tanzania is two right triangles. As a rectangle flag, in the bottom right corner is a blue right triangle in the upper left corner is a green right triangle. However these two triangles to not meet in the middle as there is a diagonal bar which cuts through the middle. As a very thick black bar this cuts through the middle and that would be that except the bar on either side has two thin, gold lines which run along with that. The colors are all symbolic and for this reason they deserve your careful attention and scrutiny before you're able to move on with the Tanzania flight.

The triangle of Green is said to represent much of the natural vegetation which is present in this country of Tanzania. There is so much vegetation in the country of Tanzania that the green triangle is a predominant 1/3 of this flag.

The triangle of blue opposite the green triangle is said to represent the numerous water resources that are available in Tanzania. These include the numerous lakes and rivers as well as Indian Ocean which is a big part of the Tanzanian cultures program.

The black color in the center of the flag is really where the whole program is about. The black color represents the native Swahili people from the country of Tanzania and this should be what every flight is all about. The flag really represents the people of the country and the flight of Tanzania does so very deftly.

While the black is the predominant site in the middle there are the two gold lines on either side of the black which represents the mineral deposits of the country. You could say that the mineral deposits of Tanzania helps prop up the people of the country and for this reason that is why the gold lines are on either side of the black line in the middle.
