Trinidad Flag

The national flag of Trinidad is a interesting sight indeed. If you are thinking that certain things means certain things than you would probably be mistaken. The flag of Trinidad is a rectangle of red with a Black stripe down the middle with two white stripes which run on either side of the much larger Black stripe. They run diagonally from top left to bottom right hand. Finally the black down the center is said to stand for the vocation of unity as well as tenacity of the people of Trinidad. While Black has stood for many things in the past tenacity and vocation and unity are not three things that would typically pop into mind at first look. However the people of Trinidad and Tobago have never been typical by any stretch of the imagination so it is not without the least bit of understanding that this is the case. While there is one official flag for Tobago which is different from the flag of Trinidad and Tobago, the national flag of Trinidad and Tobago is the red and black with white stripes so if that is what you looking for when you're talking about the Trinidad flag then that is what you should go for because that is the only way to go.
