Uganda Flag
While many people like to gain freedom, people of Uganda were joyous about it. In 1962 when they officially gained independence from the United Kingdom they made themselves a flag that was an amazing sight indeed. With six horizontal stripes of black, gold, red, black, gold, red, the flag of Uganda is a great site and see. There is also a white disk on the center with a bird inside of it this as an image. The vertices side where is the flag was hoisted from which is the flag left if you're looking at it. The three colors of the flag of Uganda were originated by the people of Uganda's Congress and are representative of a number of different things.
When you're talking about flag imagery you need to understand that the colors all have definite meaning and they all should be respected for that because without this meaning than the people of the country have little to hold onto in terms of a flag it means anything to them. The black on the flag of Uganda is said to stand for the African people and rightfully so because of the African heritage of the people of Uganda is apparent everywhere you go in the country of Uganda.
While many people have many different interpretations for what yellow could mean on the flag, for the people of Uganda the yellow is said to stand for the African sunshine. This is a very facile definition for the color but is also a very applicable one just because of the fact that the people of Uganda have had a great deal of sunshine ever since they were freed from British rule. And there literally is a lot of sunshine in the country in Africa just because of the fact that they're more near the equator.
The red and the flag of Uganda is the more easy-to-understand definitions for color and is said to stand for the blood of the people who have died for the freedom of the people of Uganda. However, there is also another subtext going on when you're talking about this and it is the fact that all Africans are connected through their blood and this is an important distinction to people of Uganda like to make enough talking about their flag.
When you're talking about other things to do with the flag of Uganda you need to understand that there are a whole host of interpretations for every design for every image anywhere.
